IPAI Staff


Josh Barnett

Executive Director

Josh joined the IPAI staff in May 2018. He has more than ten years’ experience in non-profit management, communication strategy, marketing, and training development. He was most recently on staff with Advocate Charitable Foundation, the philanthropy arm of Advocate Health Care. Josh is also a member of the McLean County Board representing more than 17,000 residents on Bloomington’s east side. In addition to work and elected duties, Josh volunteers with the Kiwanis Club of Bloomington, McLean County Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Prairie Community Foundation, and numerous other organizations. 

Amanda Padgitt

Learning & Development Specialist

Amanda joined the IPAI staff in June 2018 as the new Learning & Development Specialist. Her experience covers the whole process of training development: course analysis, training design, and evaluation. She earned her master’s degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University in 2017. Most recently, she was an instructional designer at the International Society of Arboriculture in Champaign, which is a membership and credentialing organization for arborists across the world. Amanda also volunteers for PATH Crisis Center as a call specialist for the crisis hotline. 

Jamie McKeon

Conference Coordinator & Registrar

Jamie joined the team in June 2018. She has experience in the hospitality industry and in social media management. As the Conference Coordinator & Registrar for the IPAI, she will be assisting with conference planning and will be the main contact for student questions. Jamie is an active member of the Bloomington Normal Jaycees and enjoys walks with her dog, Penny and spending time with family and friends.
