Cunningham Township is seeking a Chief Deputy Assessor. This position assists the elected Cunningham Township Assessor in carrying administrative, fiscal and clerical functions of the township assessment office. Additional responsibilities include oversees the department in the Cunningham Township Assessors’ absence. Reviews sale declarations and reviews yearly sale studies. Additionally, oversees discovery and changes on properties for residential, commercial, industrial and farm home site and farm buildings as well as assists Cunningham Township Assessor with neighborhood factoring and yearly cost factors.
Minimum Requirements include: a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent with six years of assessment office work history, or associates degree with ten years’ assessment field experience, or 16 years of assessment field experience, Four or more years of administrative and supervisory experience in assessment field. Should have knowledge in assessment procedures and tax cycle, plus knowledge of law and regulations pertaining to assessments, CIAO State of Illinois certification or equivalent is also required. The County of Boone, IL is seeking an individual to fill the full-time position of Supervisor of Assessments.

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, public administration, finance, business administration or a closely related field preferred plus at least two years of professional experience in administration/management. The City of Champaign Township is seeking a full-time Deputy Assessor. This position is responsible for assisting The Chief Deputy Assessor in the overall direction and management of Township’s property appraisal program; Assists in identifying, inventorying, determining market values and calculating assessed valuation for the Township properties in accordance with the State regulations, methods and procedures to ensure fair and equitable assessments; and complying with all applicable State of Illinois laws. A minimum 5 years relevant experience required, in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Developmental classifications of property assessment work. Applicant's must possess an Illinois CIAO designation or equivalent experience. The township offers a competitive benefits package.

The City of Champaign Township is seeking a part-time Field Specialist. The main function of the Field Assistant is to support the Assessor's Office by measuring buildings and structures within The City of Champaign Township boundaries; Accurately and efficiently collecting and verifying the characteristics describing the buildings or structures on Property Record Cards. Duties may also include general clerical work, filing, answering phones, assisting residents in the office and other administrative responsibilities handled by the Assessor's Office as assigned. This is a 10 - 15 hours per week position.
